Alcohol Policy
Alcohol Passport
The Gaigosai Festival offers alcoholic beverages to visitors as a part of introducing international cultures and cuisine. Therefore we introduced the Alcohol Passport system for participants to enjoy drinking safely. Our purpose is to prevent overindulgence and underage drinking. The Alcohol Passport will be distributed to visitors who are confirmed to be of drinking age and not already intoxicated. Under this system, only Alcohol Passport holders are permitted to purchase alcoholic beverages in the Gaigosai Festival.
Having our efforts highly evaluated, we won the NO IKKI! Award from "The Fourth Campus Festival Grand Prix" (awarded to the school with prominent drinking accident prevention measures), and the Award for Proper Drinking from "Best-of-School Festival 2012" hosted by hosted by DIAMOND, Inc.
We are still giving consideration to the system for this year. To continue this cultural experience unique to other campus festivals, we wish to ask your further understanding and cooperation in our efforts during the Gaigosai Festival.
