Greetings from the Chair

Thank you for visiting the 92nd Gaigosai website. My name is Yuichiro Ishikawa, and I am a junior majoring in Portuguese. I also preside over the 92nd Gaigosai executive.

Do you know what kind of festival Gaigosai is?

It is impossible to describe Gaigosai in one phrase because there are many ways to enjoy Gaigosai. For example, you may relish the food from around the world made by students, or you may be fascinated with the plays played in various languages. You may also be excited over the projects and shows that are related to the world, and are offered by us executives. Gaigosai is a festival that includes everything I said above, and most importantly, it is all conducted by us students. I am sure that you will be delighted by this festival, conducted by students who have various interests.

The year of 2014 is now half over, and Gaigosai is coming soon as always. We Gaigosai executives are working very hard in order to make Gaigosai more attractive, and to make as many people as possible come to this wonderful festival.

It is true that there are many places to visit and see in Tokyo, however, I believe that there is no such place as attractive as Tokyo University of Foreign Studies located in Tama, during November 20th to 24th this year. Please come to Gaigosai and see how amusing this festival is.

We are looking forward to seeing you in November.

July, 2014
Yuichiro Ishikawa,
Chair of the 92nd Gaigosai committee
